July '20 (06:53a.m. : HK Time) : Weird courses..
Finally registered courses. It was hard, because even as a Fine Art specialist, I only need 11.0 credits from the art history program. Add 3.0 credits of distribution requirements to that, meaning I have 6.0 credits to choose whatever courses I want. I am sure some of you would appreciate having some more electives in your schedules, but I assure you, having too many options can be a pain in the ass too. I had to look through the calendar back and forth many times to find courses that have no prerequisites and would fit into my schedule in order to fill up my timetable, and I was forced to take absolutely weird courses that I don't think anyone would want to take them.. how weird? Take a look:

Fall:
UNI 201: Quebec Society (Monday 10-12)
SMC 306: Christ and Technology (Tuesday and Thursday 10-11)
UNI 255: History and Sexualities (Tuesday 6-9)
FAH 341: Venetian Art and Architecture (Thursday 4-6)
FAH 301: Greek Cities (Friday 12-2)

Winter:
HPS 202: Tech in the Modern World (Tuesday and Thursday 11-12)
FAH 322: Romanesque Sculpture (Wednesday 2-4)
FAH 375: American Architecture (Thursday 4-6)
FAH 386: Contemporary Canadian Art (Friday 1-3)

Right.. Christ and technology.. I think I will have a great time, if anyone know any good courses that do not require pre-reqs please tell me.. seriously please! Anyway, I still have to squeeze in two 400+ FAH courses somewhere, but those will have to wait until the year actually starts..

July '10 (05:37p.m. : HK Time) :
Because I took a two hour nap from 2300 to 0100, I am still up at almost six o'clock in the morning. And for the last hour or so, I have been doing online quizzes. Really. I should be sleeping. While I have nothing much to do, you'd expect me to pay more attention to world news such as the bombing incident in London few days back. It turns out I really could care less. It's unfortunate, but really, what can I do? I think only when it's an issue that truly affects me, then I'd think about what I ought to do. It's a selfish thought really, but I am selfish to an extent haha. =P

With my mom gone back to Victoria, I now have more time to go out. Unless my brother has no plans for the night, I usually would stay home with my dad just so he doesn't need to be by himself after coming home from work. It's the least I can do really. Otherwise, the past week I have going out a lot, whether by myself or with people I have met through work at Price. Friday a bunch of us went to karaoke, it was fun, met some more new people through a mutual friend. Although I do not suppose any of them will remember us and vv. The night's high point was the part when all of us sing several old but upbeat energetic songs, as well as the mini-concert that a friend put up for us; his vocal is the blend of two famous HK singers. Most excellent indeed. One of the person whom I didn't know until then tried to rival against my friend and failed haha. Anyhoo. The important thing is that most people had a great time, and no one was bored or felt uncomfortable. I think a trip to the local amusement park next would be decent, that way people wouldn't have to come in their business attire and such.

Lastly, I would just like to point out it's a pain in the ass to update this page. =P
